    • Our policies reimburse you in the event you are charged by the rental company for damage or theft of your hire vehicle. If you’re charged a fee, simply submit a claim via our online claims portal and, if successful, we’ll.

  • addWhat kinds of vehicle do we cover?
    • We offer cover for cars, vans and motorhomes. Simply select the type(s) of vehicle you’re looking to cover when purchasing.

  • addAre joint policies available?
    • Yes, you can choose to add a Spouse/Partner or close family member to the policy, allowing them to use the policy independently.

      Our policies also cover up to 9 named drivers as standard, meaning anyone listed as an additional driver on a single rental agreement are covered on the same basis as the policy holder.

      Please note – the policy holder must always be the main/lead driver on any rental agreement.

  • addWhat’s the difference between car hire insurance and excess insurance?
    • Simply put, car hire insurance covers the full market value of the vehicle, whereas excess insurance covers any excess fees you are charged in the event of damage of theft.

  • addWhat is a Voluntary Contribution Excess?
    • The Voluntary Contribution Excess is the first amount you choose to pay should you be charged for damage or theft of the rental vehicle. You can choose a voluntary excess of between $0 - $500. If you choose to pay a voluntary excess, you will pay less premium.

  • addAre single-trip and annual policies available?
    • Yes

      chevron_right Single trip policies are available for one-off rentals up to 31 days in length.

      chevron_right Annual multi-trip policies cover unlimited number of rentals up to 60 days in length.

  • addAre personal belongings & baggage covered?
    • Yes, both personal belongings and baggage are covered if damaged or stolen while in your rental vehicle.

  • addCan I upgrade my policy?
    • To upgrade or make changes to your policy please call our customer service team on 1300 891 254 Monday – Friday between 09:00 – 17:00.

  • addHow do I make a claim?
    • You can submit your claim online. Simply visit our Make a Claim page to begin the process.

  • addWhat are the main restrictions on our policies?
    • chevron_right Policy holders must be aged between 21 and 85

      chevron_right Rental vehicles must not:

      chevron_right Exceed $150,000 in value

      chevron_right Be over 10 years old

      chevron_right Have more than 9 seats

      chevron_right Weigh over 7.5 tonnes

      chevron_right Motorcycles, mopeds and scooters are not covered

      chevron_right Competition and performance driving are not covered

  • addWhat payment types are accepted?
    • We accept all major credit and debit cards.

  • addAre windows, tyres, the roof and the under-carriage covered?
    • Yes, and these are of course the parts of the vehicle most likely to get damaged, so many rental companies exclude them from their excess cover.

  • addCan you cancel a policy?
    • You can cancel a policy within 14 days of purchase so long as the policy hasn’t started and hasn’t been used.
